Well it was a wonderful day. She did great and felt very excited all day. Thanks for the well-wishes from everyone. That made the day even more special.
The blessed moment!
Georgia and Father Chris. We are losing Father Chris. This was his last mass with us. On Wednesday he will officially be the administrator at another parish so in his words this day was "bittersweet."
My family with Father Chris.
"The Church" held a gathering for the kids after mass. This is the beautiful cake.
This is Georgia and her Godmother, Lori.
In the Grotto.
Here she is back home.
We are so proud and happy for you Georgia as you take another step on your Catholic journey! xoxo Mom and Dad

CONGRATULATIONS Georgia! Im sorry I couldn't have been there. And you're absolutley right you're dress is beautiful!!!
You look very pretty in your dress Georgia! Did Mom make it? So, tell me, what did you have to do to get to your first holy communion? I would like to learn more about your faith! Christian and Sarah had children's day at church yesterday. The kids kind of just show the congregation what they've learned during the "sunday school year" with reading scripture, singing songs etc. I have pictures to post.. hopefully tonight after Christian's baseball game.
Thinking of you all!
love

ps did you eat a piece of that cake for us???
Congratulations, Georgia!!! You were in my prayers on your First Communion Day. I am so happy that you can now fully take part in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. I always think it is so wonderful to be able hold the TRUE and REAL JESUS so close to our hearts.
God Bless you,
Love,
Aunt Joann
