Rainy window craft

We made a cute rainy window.
A fun part was to use a hole punch to make the raindrops.
And of course gluing.
Our window even got curtains.
There is it. between the pieces of construction paper there is a baggie with the punched out pieced of paper. When you flip the window upside down the "drops" fall. It actually works and is cute.

Trip to Albany Part III The finale

My buttons got pushed and things are out of align - sorry
Here is the finale. They are married at long last.
I tried really hard to get a nice picture of the girls outside. They had just sat through an over 4 hour car ride and a wedding ceremony. They didn't want any part of this picture.

What a treat it was to see the outstandingly beautiful architecture of Albany. It's a wonder our state is out of money.

Celebration time. Emmy LOVED her fancy glasses.

The girls patiently waiting again. It was a multiple course dinner, I'm still recovering, but it took hours to get through! Soooo yummy.
Reese and Anthony made the occasion.
The wedding cake.
Still eating!!!
The first dance.
Dad and Glenda
Time to get this party started. Although I don't think this family needed us to get the party started they were a rowdy bunch. Quite surprising when compared to the 5 star dinner! I thought things might end up a little "stuffy".
The girls can finally MOVE!

The tuckered out so fast though. Time to go back to the hotel. We are so glad we made the trip. It was an experience for us all.

Pictures from our trip to Albany part I

My step-brother Josh got married this weekend and we had the pleasure of staying in a very nice hotel. This was a BIG treat for the girls so we made sure to play it up by taking some pictures so they could pose very "fancy". I don't know if you have ever heard of Eloise but that is what I kept thinking of. (A little girl who lives in a fancy hotel if I remember right)

In the elevator.
Look at what Aunt Theresa told Georgia to do. I guess she said something like "make sure you jump on the bed, and you don't even have to make it in the morning!" What an example she is setting.
Can you find Emmy in that HUGE bed?
More to come!

Ducklings!!

Brad brought home some ducks a couple of days ago. The kids have just been all over them. We put them in the tub yesterday and they gave us a show!
These are Mallards. The perfect pet. We get to raise them while they are cutsie and then come migration time they are outta here!!
Margie watching them do their tricks in the tub.

We were throwing them bread. It was so cute but what a mess I had!!

seeds in a baggie

To celebrate Earth Day Emmy "planted" some seeds in a baggie. Here she is talking to them. She was begging them to grow because we have had poor luck doing this in the past.
planting

Wow don't look so excited Emmy. This was another activity Emmy got to do without those bothersome big sisters so she was actually very excited. The camera unfortunately didn't capture the excitement in this picture. Everyone cross your fingers!

Mimic Art Bedroom in Arles

We did another Vincent van Gogh mimic art of his painting Bedroom in Arles.
The girls really got into this. They were very excited to paint their bedrooms.
I know I have a million pictures of this same thing (basically). I don't know why I love to take a close up of them painting. Maybe it's the moment of concentration that is so cute to me.
Josie putting texture on her rug.
Emeline painted every paper in site! She really gets into her painting.
Georgia's bedroom.
Here is Josie's.
I THINK THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!
