We finally made the Lourdes Grotto out of Rice Krispie treats. The girls astonished when I plopped the batch onto the pan and told them to get shaping it. They kept asking, "With our hands?", "Are you serious?" 
Ut oh looks like there is a little disagreement here! There were a few!
It came out cute.
Margie helped too of course.
Poor Saint Bernadette looks like she is in quick sand. After making this we watched the 1990 version of the "Saint Bernadette Soubirous Movie". It was very sweet and the girls were glued to the screen. It can be found in parts on youtube. This should send you to the first part.
