
Because it was Veterans Day this past Wednesday, I tried to find a rhyme about soldiers. I did find one called
"Five Little Soldiers" that we made some hand motions to. It goes like this:

Well first this is Emeline's row of soldiers that she colored. Now the song / rhyme goes like this:

Five little soldiers standing in a row,

Three stood straight and two stood so,

Along came the captain and what do you think? (This was hard for her to do. Those little fingers / soldiers wouldn't cooperate very much!)

They all stood straight as quick as a wink.
