My four girls at Easter

Here are some pictures I snapped before heading to church Sunday morning. They clean up pretty nice don't they!

My sweet pea. You can see the blanket that Aunt Joann made better.

Wish I knew how to take nice pictures.
Sweet dreamer.

spring cleaning

Every year we take care of Brad's aunts lawn. She goes to Myrtle Beach and comes home to a yard that is free of leaves and sticks, lucky dog. This year (I think Russell helped last year) Ben and Russell came to help us out and help us out they did. I couldn't believe them. They didn't stop once saving Brad and I probably close to three hours. Thanks guys.

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter and I hope you all did as well. Here are Georgia and Emeline posing with some Easter crafts we did Saturday.
We made a tomb and some paper mache eggs.
On Easter morning they found some treats inside their eggs. Emeline is most excited.
Success - they found it all.
More to come.

Cutie pants Emeline

Look, another angel. I turned to look at her while sitting on the couch and discovered that she fell asleep while reading the Bible! Does that constitute an angel given the fact that she fell asleep... maybe not??
We found these chick printables and Emeline loves to recite the poem and find the colors.
She's getting big isn't she?

Margie is 2 weeks!

Margie likes to play with dad when he gets home. She also likes to gaze toward the windows. I guess in this photo the light is giving her a headache.
Looks like she is snubbing her father here doesn't it?
She loves him!
I love this one. See her "reaching" for him?
My angel from heaven.
The girls like to tickle her chin to get a grin.
There is one! Isn't it cute?

We tired her out. Oh the life!

coloring eggs

Coloring eggs this year was a success. It always seems I get more eggscited than the kids?? but oh well.
For the first time we colored a few brown eggs. The color is really saturated. I think we will do some next year too.
Emeline thought the whole process was pretty cool. She was ignorant to the fact that food coloring stains, the cups can spill, the eggs can break, etc. She wanted to do it all herself. My kind of girl!
There's part of the crew.

visitors

My little peanut had some visitors this weekend. Grandma Gifford and family and Aunt Jessie and family came over yesterday.
A profile of Sam.
Grandma G. gazing at her newest grandson Samuel.
These little babies wouldn't cooperate so that we could get a cute pictures of them together with grandma. Oh well - maybe next time.
I see most of the pictures I got were pretty bad! Here is a shot that shows the size difference of baby Margie and Sam. Sam is all boy!!
Grandma says Margie likes this position. She looks comfy enough!
Thanks for coming to visit!! xoxo

My Margie, Emmy and a tornado

This is Margie's favorite way to travel, wrapped up tight in my bathrobe. Doesn't she look comfy? I need to make a baby sling for her.
Here she is sneaking a peek to make sure mom is still there.
Georgia sang some songs from Seussical the Musical in the La on Broadway show. They provided the kids with cat in the hat hats. Emeline liked playing with it.
We made a tornado as part of our weather unit. Having the baby has put a slight speed bump in our schooling but we are back in the swing of things.

in like a lion out like a lamb

Margie gazing up at Josie.
Isn't this one pretty. Josie really looks like she likes her.
Now Georgia's turn.
Emmy made a little lamb. She enjoyed tearing apart cotton balls.
She also loved the fact that I handed her the glue.
Looking pretty cute Em.
Awww. Emeline good job. We added a ribbon to her hair later on.
