The Pool

I am very greatful to mom and Rick for letting us put up their pool this summer. We all loved it tremendously. Unfortunately this summer wasn't the best for swimming but it certainly got used. It was great for Georgia and Josie because they got over some of their fear and Georgia is actually (sort of) swimming now. I let the water get fairly low later on so that Josie would go without her swim ring to practice a little too. Progress!
thanks mom, rick, ben and russell

09/10 School Pictures

~Emeline~

Here is my Emeline. She took some funny ones because I wanted to use the wonderful sunshine to illuminate her face but every time I said "Look over there" or "Look at that" she would say something back to me even after I explained why I wanted her to look. You can see in the 6th and 7th one she is doing this. She is a cutie pie. These are her 2 year old pre-school pictures!

09/10 School Pictures:

~Josie~

Today you get to enjoy my beautiful Josie. She picked out her outfit. Stacy and Ava the shirt may look familiar, it is one of her favorites. She loves to mismatch her prints and always looks cute doing so. Josie went first the other day and I see I didn't get as much of her because like I said I was in a hurry thinking my time was short with their tempers and baby Margie.
I love you JoJo!

09/10 School Pictures: georgia

~Georgia~

I ran outside and snapped some pictures of each of the girls (minus Margie her day will come) while they were ok with the idea of getting there pictures. Sometimes the idea sounds good but cooperation fades very quickly! I think it was successful. Tomorrow will be Josie's post but for now enjoy my beautiful Georgia Lynn.

Sixberry Lake: Remaining Pictures

I figured I would start with this little guy because he is the first cute little thing we saw when we got there. Oh he was scurrying around, stopping and looking at us and we were treating it like a little baby cooing and talking in usually high pitched voices "Hi little guy, aren't you a cute little thing." you know that kind of stuff. Well the little thing turned out to be about a dozen little thingS that ruled this campsite. They quickly turned into a BIG nuisance getting into food right before our eyes, crawling under tents and even up the side of the tents. I told them all that I was going to remember them if we come next year and bring my mousetraps!! (kidding)
Mesmerized by the campfire.
Buds.
Russell keeping us all laughing.
Russell's big catch.
Georgia giving it a go. She was great at catching the not so elusive Sixberry Lake boulder fish if you know what I mean!
Of course canoe rides.

Margie Sue enjoying her vacation on a very chilly morning.

Look at that face.
Come on Russell get it off it's no bigger than your thumb.
Jenny taking a ride. I could stay out there for EVER and just float around.
